Carbohydrates to fuel your workout
Carbohydrates, along with protein and fats, are one of the three macronutrients you need to consume as part of a healthy diet. Every time you train your body uses carbohydrate, and if you're training hard you'll need to consume more than the average person.
While you can get carbs from normal foods, such as bread, pasta and cereals, you can control your carb intake more easily and avoid consuming unwanted fats and other things if you use carb supplements instead.
There are loads of different ways to boost your carb intake. Cream of Rice+ makes an excellent dessert or breakfast, Pure Fine Oats can be added to your protein shakes to thicken them up, while Maltodextrin, Dextrose and Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin are all suitable for drinking before, during or after exercise.
