Can I get free delivery?
We offer free standard delivery service on UK mainland orders over £50.00. There may be a small charge for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Islands and Isle of Man. Orders containing meat are delivered via our premium chilled service and will be delivered free if the order total exceeds £100 of which at least £25 is meat.
Can I choose a delivery day?
Yes, we now offer a nominated delivery day service for some couriers for just one pound extra. Simply select the day you wish to receive your order and our courier will deliver it to you between 8am and 9pm.
Do you deliver to my part of the UK?
We deliver to all postal locations in the UK, with the exception of PO Boxes and BFPO addresses.
What is Standard delivery?
Orders sent using our Standard delivery service typically arrive within 3-5 working days for mainland UK addresses (Monday to Friday 8am-9pm, excluding Bank Holidays), providing the order is placed before our 4pm cut-off.
What happens if I'm out when the courier tries to deliver?
The carrier may try to leave with a neighbour, or if there is a safe and secure location at your property the parcel may be left there (this is at the courier's discretion and cannot be guaranteed). The carrier will leave you a card with the details of where the parcel was delivered, and you can also obtain this information using the tracking link from the email we send you to confirm despatch.
Should the carrier be unable to deliver the parcel, they will leave a card which will explain what to do next. Please contact them direct to arrange a redelivery at your convenience or a collection from the carrier depot (where available).
What happens if I am not in when my meat arrives?
All meat is sent using a nominated day delivery service and it's your responsibility to ensure you will be present to sign for it when it is delivered between 8am and 9pm. We cannot refund orders that have not been signed for and they may not be safe for consumption if redelivered after your nominated day.
Can I get next day delivery?
Our Express and Express Premium services provide next day delivery for most parts of the UK. These services are available for orders placed before 4pm Monday to Thursday and cost £3.99-4.99. Delivery is Monday-Friday, but excludes Bank Holidays.
Orders placed after 4pm on Friday and before 1pm on a Sunday using an Express delivery, will arrive the following Monday.
Do you deliver on a Saturday?
Yes. Select Express delivery by Yodel at the checkout, and you can order up until 4pm on a Friday and receive your order on the Saturday.
Do you deliver in the evening?
No, we can't offer evening delivery slots as standard at present. Some couriers may choose to deliver later into the evening, but this is not a guaranteed service.
My delivery hasn't arrived within the given time slot. What shall I do?
Please track your order with the courier, using the link on the email we have sent you to confirm despatch or via the My Account section of the website. If you have any further queries, please contact us and we will be happy to help. If your order contains fresh meat, please contact us.
Please let us know within 7 days of placing your order if it hasn't arrived and we can investigate this for you. Any longer than 7 days and we may not be able to look into with the courier.
My delivery has arrived but there was an item missing?
Please check your order in the the My Account section of the website to confirm that you purchased the item, and check your email (and spam folder) to see if we sent you an email advising you that an item was out of stock. If not, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
What should I do if my parcel arrives damaged?
We take every effort to ensure parcels are packed carefully to minimise damage, but unfortunately sometimes damage can occur in transit. If this happens, you are able to refuse delivery of your parcel when the carrier delivers it to your door, and we will pay for its collection from them.
If you've already received a parcel and found that it's damaged, please contact us immediately and we will be happy to help. If your fresh meat packaging is damaged, please contact us immediately.
Please do not dispose of the item until you've spoken with us.
Do you have any delivery postcode exceptions?
No, we deliver to all UK postcodes. We can't deliver to BFPO addresses or PO Boxes.
Why can't I specify a time for delivery?
Unfortunately our couriers don't yet offer this service. However, if you use our Express Premium service and you provide your mobile number when you checkout, the courier will text you to let you know the 15 minute window within which your parcel should arrive. By sending a text back to them, you're able to reschedule delivery to a time that suits you better.
Can I send an order to more than one delivery address?
Yes, you can, but you'll need to place separate orders and pay the delivery costs on each one.
How can I give you extra delivery details?
We're sorry, but we cannot provide the courier with any additional information regarding delivery or amend any details.
Why do you use so much packaging for your deliveries?
We want to ensure that your order arrives safely, but we use the minimum amount of packaging that ensures that it gets to you without any damage. All packaging is recyclable and we advise you do this.
Can I have a refund for my delivery charge, as the item didn't show up within the agreed timescales?
Unless you pay for Express delivery we cannot guarantee any specific date.
For orders placed under the Express service, we will refund difference between the express delivery and standard delivery in points or back to the original payment method if there has not been a successful delivery or attempted delivery within the stated timescales.

Do you deliver on Bank Holidays?
No, at the moment, as most couriers do not operate on Bank Holidays.
Can I get next day delivery on Bank Holiday weekends?
No, our couriers do not operate on Bank Holidays so if you place an order between Friday and Monday it will be despatched Tuesday for delivery by Wednesday. Standard 3-5 day deliveries are subject to similar delays with couriers.
Can the delivery address be different to the billing address?
Yes, you can set up a number of delivery addresses within your online account and they do not have to match your billing address. Please note that we may need to do some additional security checks.
Is a signature needed for delivery?
Yes, a signature may be required for delivery, so please ensure someone is available to sign for your parcel between 8am and 9pm.
Can I change the shipping address?
We may be able to change the address within the first 30 minutes of placing your order, however we can't guarantee this.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes, we have just released our International delivery option, checkout the international tab for details.
Do you charge extra for very small orders?
Yes, we charge an extra £1 on orders below £20 to help us cover the high costs of shipping we incur. If you spend over £20 we will waive this cost.
Do you have a minimum order value?
There's no minimum order value on normal orders. However, if you order fresh meat we do ask that you spend at least £25 on meat to make it viable for us to pack your order. If you want to spend less than £25 on meat you can opt to pay a £5 meat packaging fee instead.
