Why choose Lean Minced Steak?
The ideal food for building muscle is ideally high in protein yet low in fats, and that perfectly describes Lean Minced Steak.
Because it is perfectly compatible with a whole range of sides to simply being consumed standalone with sauce, it is a perfect meat for those wanting to build a lean physique or for those wanting to watch their weight. Throw in that it's simple to cook and highly affordable and it's easy to see why Lean Minced Steak is a popular seller.
What's good about your Lean Minced Steak?
Firstly, our Lean Minced Steak is only sourced from cattle from British high welfare farms, where the 21 day aged meat is extremely lean with just 9.6g of fat per 100g. This means that when you're adding quality lean muscle, you can do so safe in the knowledge that you're not consuming too much fat.
In addition to being low in fat, it's also high in protein at 22g per 100g. An additional benefit about our Lean Minced Steak is that it's full of the essential minerals and vitamins a body requires to properly function, making it a great food to include as part of your weekly intake.
As well as all GoNutrition beef coming from traditional British breeds, some of them are on the Rare Breed Watch List. This means that not only does Lean Minced Steak taste better than those not on this list, but it also helps support British native breeds. Our beef also comes into us in full carcass, meaning we have full traceability behind all cuts, ensuring you know definitively from where your meat is coming.
Each of our steaks are aged for a minimum of 21 days, allowing the meat fibres to break down to give you a more tender and richer flavoured steak.
You'll also be pleased to know all of our meats are freshly produced, meaning the longest possible life for your order. Each product is also vacuum packed or tray packed to help provide easy storage. Altogether this means your Lean Minced Steak will keep for a minimum of five days in the fridge or up to six months when frozen.
What is different about your meats?
As with everything we do at GoNutrition® quality and transparency is paramount. This is an easy thing to say, but we back this up with the fact we were the first nutrition brand to pioneer a 100% transparency policy. The same ethos has continued into our range of premium fresh meats.
Both GoNutrition® and the local farms with which we work take traceability very seriously. Every single hand-cut piece of meat can be traced right back to the farm where it was produced. We can even tell you which animal it came from.
Our meat is also great quality. All of the lamb, beef and pork we sell comes from British high welfare farms. Our farmers produce great quality meat from traditional British livestock and rare breeds, which keeps them part of the British countryside, and means they're raised in the best conditions. Our expert butchers produce meat to order and lovingly prepare it so you get the perfect cut.
How do you ensure my meat arrives fresh?
We use premium insulated packaging to ensure our meats arrive cool, fresh and safe for up to 48 hours in transit, even on a summer's day. All of our meats are sent via a 24 hour courier to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, even if slightly delayed. As we want to ensure our meat arrives safely, there are some remote regions to which we cannot deliver to at this time.
All products are expertly butchered each morning fresh and will keep for a minimum of five days in the fridge or up to six months in the freezer. We never ship frozen meat, only fresh, so quality is assured.
How long does it take to deliver?
All chilled deliveries are sent via a 24-hour courier, and will take around 4-7 working days to arrive, depending on your nominated day and when the order is placed. This is due to your order being butchered and despatched fresh to order.
To ensure convenience you can select a nominated day for delivery for all chilled orders at no extra cost. Please see the Delivery & Returns tab above for full details.
