Where is it from? Produced from British bred cattle raised on high welfare farms. We can trace our beef right back to the farmer who produced it. Born and raised in the British countryside on high welfare farms. We can tell you the exact farm who produced your lamb. Produced on local high welfare farms using British historic breeds. All pork can be traced right back to the farmer who produced it. Barn farmed in Europe or Britain, depending on the product. We can trace all chicken back to the farmer who produced it.
How is it farmed? Produced from grass fed cattle kept in British high welfare farms. Reared with the mother for at least six months in the green hills and pastures of Britain. Our pigs live free range on British high welfare farms in the company of their pig friends. Most of our chicken comes from barn farmed hens, but we also sell free range British chicken too.
How is it produced? Aged for at least 21 days to give a tender, richer flavour, then butchered and trimmed by hand from the full carcass. Hand butchered from the full lamb carcass by expert butchers and trimmed of fat and gristle for the perfect lean cut. Butchered from the full pig carcass by skilled butchers and chopped and trimmed to perfection. Expertly butchered on the morning of despatch for unbeatable freshness. Trimmed of unsightly blood spots and excess fat.

What makes your meat so good?

All of the beef, lamb and pork we sell comes from British high welfare farms.

Many of our cuts come from traditional livestock breeds, such as those on the Rare Breeds Watch List, rather than your usual domestic stock.

These varieties are often slower growing and taste much better. By using traditional breeds we're also helping keep them part of the British countryside.

Is it traceable?

Yes, transparency is central to what we do, so everything we sell is traceable.

We can trace any piece of meat not just to the country, but to the farm and even the animal from which it was produced.

How is your meat butchered?

It's produced locally and it's expertly butchered on the morning of despatch, so you can't get fresher.

Every cut is carefully trimmed of excess fat, gristle and blood spots to produce a lean cut.

How is your meat packed?

Every cut is produced for you on the morning of despatch by our expert butchers and then packed in a vacuum sealed packet. These are wrapped between sheets of hydrated ice gel and wrapped in environmentally friendly WoolCool® insulation. This natural sheep wool wadding keeps your meat safe and cold for up to 48 hours, but as we'll only ship to you if we can reach you in 24, it's guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition.

How is it delivered?

All orders containing meat are shipped via our Express Chilled Service, which takes less than 24 hours from the time of despatch. This includes a free nominated delivery day option allowing you to state when you want it delivered. Our courier will bring it to your door on your chosen day between 8am and 8pm.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs just £3.99 for orders containing over £25 worth of meat. For smaller orders we charge an additional £5 fee to cover the expensive packaging used. We'll ship your order for free if you spend over £100, of which £25 is meat.
