What makes your fresh meats so special?
All of the beef, lamb and pork we sell is sourced from high welfare farms in Britain. It's expertly butchered, vacuum sealed for freshness and delivered fresh to your door using our premium chilled delivery service.
It's also superb quality. Our expert butchers are accredited by SALSA, The Guild of Fine Food, Great Taste, Taste of the West and many more, so you know you're getting meat that's safe, produced by expertly trained suppliers, never any water or salt added and really, really tasty.
Where do you source your beef?
We only sell high quality British beef from high welfare farms. Many cuts, such as our Rump Steaks, are from British bred cattle on the Rare Breed Watch List, rather than your typical beef cattle. By farming these cattle we're helping keep these breeds part of the British countryside - we think they're also much tastier, too.
How is your beef produced?
All of our beef is butchered from British-bred beef cattle, and since our butchers produce all of our cuts from the full carcasses we can trace any cut of beef back to its originating farm for full traceability. We like to think we are bringing local online and this is something supermarkets can't offer you.
Most cuts are immediately vacuum packed and refrigerated for freshness to keep them in perfect condition, but we go to extra lengths with our steaks. Like all the best restaurant steaks, ours are aged for at least 21 days to help soften the meat, making them extra tender and helping enhance their wonderful flavour.
Where do you get your lamb?
Just like our beef, all of our lamb comes high welfare farms right here in Britain.
All of the British lamb we sell can be traced back from the cut to the original farm, so you can rest assured that you're getting a great quality locally produced meat.
Where do you source your pork?
High welfare farms in the UK provide all of the pork we sell. Our highly skilled butchers prepare all of the cuts we sell as well as producing the sausages.
Unlike sausages most on the market, which are often considered a cheat meal, our sausages are made without rusk, so they're gluten free and much healthier for you.
What about your chicken?
All of the chicken we sell is from barn farmed hens bred in Europe.
As well as whole chickens, our specialist butcher produces a range of cuts from lean and lower fat boneless skinless chicken breasts, to great diced breast and chicken mince ideal for adding great quality protein to your salad and stir fry.
Unlike supermarket chicken, we don't add any water to ours.
