Protein Chicken Nuggets

A delicious protein take on Britain's famous chicken nuggets! A big thanks to Lee (ThePersonalNutritionCoach) for creating this recipe and letting us use it.

Ingredients:

2 x 7-8oz (400g) Premium Chicken Breast Fillets
70g GoNutrition Gluten Free Rolled Oats (Oat Flour)
100ml GoNutrition Liquid Egg Whites
1 Slice of Wholemeal Bread (Breadcrumbs)

Method:

1) Pre-heat the oven to 170° and spray a baking tray with non-stick cooking spray.

2) Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips.

3) Blend the rolled oats in a blender until you reach a flour like consistency. Then pour onto a plate. Do the same with the wholemeal bread until you achieve a breadcrumb consistency and pour the egg whites into a bowl.

4) Dip the chicken strips into the egg whites, then the oat flour and then into the breadcrumbs and then place the chicken strips onto the baking tray. Once you have done this, place the baking tray into the oven for 30-35 minutes turning the chicken strips halfway through cooking.

5) Take out of the oven and enjoy!
