Protein Smoothie Bowl

Cookies & Cream Protein Smoothie Bowl | A Delicious Treat

A delicious Smoothie Bowl made using our brand new Cookies 'n' Cream flavour Whey! A big thanks to Carol (carol_mnlvr) for creating this recipe and letting us use it.

 

Ingredients:

1 Frozen Banana
2 Slices of Previously Steamed and Refrigerated Pumpkin (can substitute it with another frozen banana, it adds richness and makes it creamy)
2 Small Plums (or fresh prunes, peeled)
1/3 Cup Coconut Milk (or coconut water)

2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp Cookies 'n' Cream Whey Protein Powder

 

Method:

1. Simply add all of the ingredients minus the two powders into a blender, adding not all of the coconut milk but just half of it.

2. Pulse a few times so that everything starts getting crushed then add in the cocoa and cookies 'n' cream whey powders, add some more coconut milk and blend.

3. Combine until thick and creamy. If you feel like the smoothie needs to be less thick you can add more milk (careful though because if the final consistency is not thick enough you won't be able to eat it with a spoon like a pudding. Do not use more than 1/3 cup in total).

4. When you see it's fluffy and smooth and there are no chunks left, turn off the blender and give it a taste, you can add more cocoa if you want it to be more chocolatey.

5. Pour it into a bowl and let it set in the fridge while you prepare the toppings. You can use whatever you like! We used mixed nuts, chia seeds, carrob powder, millet, cacao nibs and butterscotch morsels but you could also use sliced banana or peanut butter too!

6. Place all of them on the smoothie and enjoy!
