Apple Protein Chocolate Cake Recipe

Cake:

  • ½ cup of millet groats (before cooking)
  • 1 scoop of GN whey protein 80 - triple chocolate
  • 1 banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp cacao (you can add more if wanted)
  • Cinnamon
  • Stevia

Apple Mousse:

  • 3 apples
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of powdered ginger
  • Stevia

Method:

Cake – Cook the millet groats with 1.5 cup of water. Cook until all the water is absorbed. When the groats are cold, add 1 scoop of protein powder, egg yolk (separate the yolk and the egg whites), cinnamon, stevia, blended banana and mix it all together.

Beat the egg whites and then add them to the mixture, stirring slowly with a spoon.

Put some baking paper into the cake tin and pour the mixture. Bake the cake for 60 minutes in 180 degrees Celsius. After the cake is cooled, cut it horizontally into two slices.

Mousse – Cut the apples into small squares and place them in a pan. Sprinkle the apples with some cinnamon, ginger and stevia and cook them covered with a lid on a low heat, stirring occasionally until soft.

After they cool down blend them and put between the two slices of cake.
