The interview
How and why did you get into your current sport? I began my start into fitness when I was 18 - I was very underweight for my height. I always thought about having a good body but never thought seriously about working for one. I got introduced into lifting from my training partner; still to this day, Daniel. He kept me on track and progressing consistently ever since. [caption id="attachment_2744" align="alignnone" width="600"]
Plans
What do you guys have planned for the next year? For the rest of 2014 and going into neat year we're planning on just pushing ourselves out there globally. We're getting a brand for ourselves and being established slowly around the different fitness areas of the world. [caption id="attachment_2745" align="alignnone" width="720"]
Advice
What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given? The piece of advice I will always hold onto is to enjoy whatever it is you choose to do. Inside or out of fitness, whatever it may be. What is the worst piece of advice you have ever been given? No carbs after six o'clock! [caption id="attachment_2746" align="alignnone" width="640"]
Personal lives - Ashley Grant
How long have you known each other and been training together? I've known Dan since year eight in secondary school. I haven't trained with anyone else other than him since the beginning. What is the other’s worst habit? Dan's worst habit is that he must iron absolutely everything. No exceptions. Nine out of ten times it doesn't need an iron to it but he does anyway. I now want to know what he said about me - probably snoring?! What's the silliest thing you've seen in the gym? Well I actually didn't see it because it happened to me. I was doing incline dumbbell and as I went back to start the rep, the bench collapsed to flat. I had to control the weight down to my chest, then I thought I may as well get a set out of this, so I just started repping out as this bench has just clearly broke on me. What is your best workout song? Currently I'm heavily into my rap though I go through phases. At the moment I'm listening to a lot of Drake. 0-100 is my track of choice, it's great for cardio.
