Frosted Cinnamon Protein Cake Bars
When you want to indulge, but also keep it clean, these Frosted Cinnamon Protein Cake Bars are an absolute godsend. Packed full of protein and low in sugar, they tick all of the correct nutritional boxes... all whilst curbing those sweet tooth cravings.
2 scoops Vanilla Whey Protein 80
1 & 1/2 cups oat flour 1/2 tbsp baking powder 1 tbsp cinnamon 1/4 cup Truvia 1 x 100g pot of unsweetened apple puree 1 medium egg 1/4 cup Greek yogurt 1 cup + 1tbsp almond milk
1 cup Greek yogurt mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon.
- Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C.
- In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients, add in the wet and mix well to form a batter.
- Pour the batter into a silicone cake pan/bar pan/brownie pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Once cool, make a frosting by mixing together the Greek yogurt and cinnamon and top each cake bar completely with the frosting.
