Protein Jam Tarts Recipe Ingredients
For the base:- 1 cup Ground Natural Almonds
- 1/4 cup Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
- 1/2 cup Whey Protein 80 Vanilla
- 2 tbsp Truvia
Protein Jam Tarts Recipe Method:
Mix together the dry ingredients, melt the coconut oil in the microwave and add to the dry mixture. Press the dough into a silicone cupcake tray and press the dough to form a slight hole in the centre of each. Bake at 180 degrees C for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Leave to cool. For the jam put 1 cup frozen blueberries with 1/2 cup water in a pan and simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes. Add in 1 sachet of gelatine and stir whilst on low heat until the mixture starts to thicken. Using a teaspoon fill each tart with jam. Leave to cool before putting in the fridge to set.
