Protein Apple Crumble

Healthy Homemade Protein Apple Crumble | A Delicious Alternative To The Full Fat Original

A delicious healthy alternative for those of us who love apple crumble! Again, another amazing recipe by Lee. Make sure you follow his Instagram - (thepersonalnutritioncoach) for more genius recipe creations.


For The Crumble:

30g GoNutrition Vanilla Ice Cream Whey Protein 80
30g GoNutrition Gluten Free Rolled Oats
10g GoNutrition Coconut Flour
1 Tsp GoNutrition Cinnamon Spice Whey More Nuts
1 Tsp GoNutrition Xylitol
40ml Almond Milk
1 Tsp Cinnamon

For The Filling:

230g Sliced Apple
3 Tsp GoNutrition Xylitol
2 Tsp Cinnamon


1) Pre-heat your oven to 180°.

2) To make the crumble, add the rolled oats, coconut flour and protein powder in a blender and pulse until you have a flour like consistency. Transfer this mixture to a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients except the whey more nuts. Place the whey more nuts into the microwave for 1 minute until slightly softened. Add this into the crumble mixture and mix with your fingertips to create a breadcrumb like texture.

3) For the filling, core and slice the apples thinly and add in a bowl along with the xylitol and cinnamon. Mix this with your hands making sure all of the apples are covered in cinnamon.

4) Now, transfer your filling mixture into a 6 x 4 shallow ovenproof dish making sure the mixture is flattened. Add your crumble mixture on top and pat down gently.

5) Place in the oven and cook for 40 minutes until the apples are soft and the crumble is golden.

6) Take out and enjoy warm!
