Protein Rice Krispy Bites

Protein Rice Krispy Bites | Fun and simple - a recipe that you can enjoy at any time of day!

A delicious post workout treat or cheat day snack packed full of GN products! Just don't eat them all in one go... A big thanks to Lee (thepersonalnutritioncoach) for creating this delicious, protein krispies recipe for us all to enjoy!

Ingredients:

100g GoNutrition Whey Protein Crispies
30g GoNutrition Cashew Nuts
60g GoNutrition Cinnamon Spice Whey More Nuts
45ml GoNutrition Maple ZeroCal Syrups
30ml GoNutrition Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
40g Rice Krispies
5ml Salted Caramel Extractr
2 Eggs
25g Sugar Free Chocolate
40g Sugar Free Marshmallows

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°

Line an 8” x 8” square baking tin with parchment paper.

Over a low-medium heat, melt the coconut oil. Once melted add in the marshmallows, zero calorie syrup and salted caramel extract and stir until all of the marshmallows are dissolved. Once dissolved, add in both of the protein rice crispies and the regular rice crispies and stir the mixture until everything is combined together. Once you have done this, place the mixture into the baking tin and press down until firm and there are no gaps.

In another pan, over a low heat, melt the whey more nuts and the chocolate and stir until melted. Once melted, pour this mixture over the rice crispy base and spread evenly. Sprinkle on the cashew nuts if you want to add more texture although this is optional.

Leave in the fridge for 4 – 5 hours until hardened.

Take out, cut and enjoy!
