Gluten Free Protein Pizza

Gluten Free Protein Pizza | A healthier, guilt-free pizza

If you're looking for a healthier alternative to your store-bought readymade pizzas, or local take-away, then this recipe is for you.

Using pea protein for the base, ensures your crust packs a healthy punch, whilst you're able to pick and choose your own toppings to suit.

Ingredients:

1/2 Cups Pea Protein Isolate

1/4 Cup Fine Oats

1/2 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt

1/2 Teaspoon Oregano

1/2 Cup Warm Water

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Toppings Of Choice

Method:

1. Combine the Pea Protein Isolate, oat flour, salt and spices in a bowl

2. Add warm water and olive oil

3. The mixture may be a little lumpy, so don't be afraid to mix it with your hands

4. Roll out and shape your dough

5. Add a little olive oil to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake at 190C for about 10 minutes, or until the edges start to brown

6. You can now top the base with your ingredients, before baking for another 10-15 minutes
