Chocolate Protein Nest Cakes | A Delicious & Easy Treat

Looking for a high protein chocolate fix to curb those cravings? This is our take on the much loved nest cakes - using just three ingredients available through the GoNutrition store.


500g GoNutrition Whey Protein Crispies
200g GoNutrition 80% Dark Chocolate Callets
100g GoNutrition Peanut Butter Deluxe


In a glass bowl, pour in the Dark Chocolate Callets. You can choose to microwave the chocolate for around 30 seconds, but make sure to regularly check that the chocolate doesn't become burned and stir regularly until there are no lumps in chocolate.

If you don't have a microwave, use a pan and fill it to about a fifth with water, place on the stove and set to high. Place the glass bowl over the pan and continue to stir until the chocolate is smooth with no lumps.

Pour in the whey protein crispies into the melted chocolate and combine until all the crispies are covered in chocolate.

Once combined, use a spoon to divide your chocolate coated whey protein crispies into 18 cases.

Leave to cool for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Once out of the fridge, dollop a spoon of our deluxe peanut butter on each cake and spread evenly.
