Protein Rocky Road

Protein Rocky Road | Protein take on a classic treat.

Created by Jack, our very own New Product Developer. This is a must try for all those sweet treat lovers. Have a go of this easy to follow recipe where the only challenge is not eating your creation in one sitting!


- 50g Calcium Caseinate
- 200g Whey Protein 80 (unflavoured)
- 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- 100g Pure Fine Oats
- 90g Goji Berries (or mixed berries)
- 70g mixed Nuts (I recommend a mix with pistachios, they look good and taste great!)
- 50g Organic Coconut Sugar
- 100g Coconut Oil
- 100g Dark Chocolate Callets
- 1 tea bag of choice (black, green or fruit are all good)
- 200ml boiling water
- 30g mini Marshmallows
- Any other filling of choice depending how healthy you're feeling (meringue pieces, whey crispies, apricots, shortbread pieces and freeze dried fruit pieces would all work well)


- Put the goji berries, coconut sugar and a tea bag in a bowl, pour over 200ml boiling water and leave to stand for 3 mins.

- Microwave the bowl for four minutes in one minute bursts, stirring between runs. This will rehydrate the berries.

- Combine the whey, calcium caseinate, cocoa powder, nuts and pure fine oats in a mixing bowl, stir well to combine.

- Melt the coconut oil with the dark chocolate callets in the microwave. Pour into the dry ingredients.

- Slowly add the berry/water mixture (removing the tea bag first!) to the mixing bowl. Stir constantly until it comes together in a thick, squidgy dough. Add any other filling of choice at this point.

- Pour into a greaseproof lined tray and push the marshmallows into the brownie. Leave to chill for 2-3 hours until solid.

- Cut into pieces and enjoy - should make 20 - 24 brownies.
